Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for classes?

Download a registration form and send it, along with a $30 deposit to:
Paws to Train
The Gonic Mill—73 Pickering Road, Suite 108
Gonic, NH 03830

What vaccinations does my dog/puppy need?

Puppies should have age appropriate vaccinations and also must have received a Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccination.

Adult dogs (and older puppies) must also have a current rabies vaccination.

Proof of vaccinations is required for all classes.

What should I bring to class?

Good treats, a dog that has been well-exercised and is hungry (no supper before class), a regular (non-retractable) leash and the collar you have been using on your dog.  Your instructor will advise you if other equipment is needed.  A good sense of humor is also required!!

What are the benefits of classes?

A class situation teaches you to work your dog around other dogs and other people, sometimes it is nice to see that others are having the same issues you are.  Classes are also a very economical way to get the dog you want.

But I have some issues I want to work on privately…

That’s OK, we also offer private instruction for those who need it.  Aggression, shyness, resource guarding or just perfecting techniques can be done in private sessions—just ask!
